How to reach Chamba from Chandigarh via Road - Guide Trip

Hi Viewers!

This is one and only, your RGMOTO welcomes you all to my world of blogging.
I always wanted to start the Vlogging in my life but there are many reasons by which I was revoked every time whenever I started. I really love moto-vlogging. But to give a kick to this career, I required gears like:

(1) An Action Camera.
(2) A Royal Enfield (I like the most for a moto-vlogging.)
(3) A Smart Helmet.
(4) An Action Camera Accessories.
(5) A Tent.
(6) Riding Gloves.
(7) Leather Shoes.
(8) And many more...

There is no limit to gears but all you need is money and motivation. This journey of vlogging is very tough for me as I am a student and I never take studies for granted. I asked my cousin to be a part of my vlog as I was a beginner. Anyhow, I started all this, made a plan to go to a hill station and went to CHAMBA (HP). This excitement made me, take a wrong decision as I was not a PRO and not even had enough gears for vlogging. And the 2nd big mistake I did is that I went to a very cold place without proper preparation(here you can imagine the level of my excitement). I was only had a Royal Enfield, an action camera, some of the accessories, Ladakh carriers, a tent, and my cousin😂.

We took 1 day to reach Chamba from Chandigarh with 6-7 HALTS of 10-15 Minutes each. We started our journey on 18th December 2018, in the morning and we reached CHOWARI (Chamba) at 8:00 in the evening. This was such a hectic ride. We took some refreshments and finally, we set up our tent and went to sleep.

On the very next morning, we planned to have breakfast first and afterwards we will leave to Jot (after Chowari) by doing moto-vlogging. Unfortunately, we couldn't make the video because the memory card was full with the previous riding videos and I hadn't carried my laptop with me. After that, we decided to continue the trip without the moto-vlogging and let's try to capture the moments on our own smartphones only. Though it was very cold which is also a reason that we hadn't executed the vlogging plan.

Sooner, we reached Jot and clicked some beautiful pictures and without any waste of time, we left for Khajjiar. It was the 1'o clock in the afternoon when we reached Jot and we have to reach Khajjiar  Lake and that is to cover 17 km within a maximum of 1 hour because our route-plan was:

Chowari-Jot-Khajjiar Lake-Dalhousie-Chowari in a day which required:

(1) 54 min for 24 km to reach Jot from Chowari,
(2) 36 min for 17 km to reach Khajjiar from Jot,
(3) 1 hr & 6 min for 24 km to reach Dalhousie from Khajjiar Lake, and
(4) 1 hr & 33 min for 50 km to reach Chowari from Dalhousie.

But we took:

(1) 1 hr & 20 min for 24 km to reach Jot from Chowari,
(2) 50 min for 17 km to reach Khajjiar from Jot,
(3) 2 hr & 30 min for 24 km to reach Dalhousie from Khajjiar Lake, and
(4) 1 hr 50 min for 50 km to reach Chowari from Dalhousie.

because roads were awesome and we were on Royal Enfield's Classic 350 Gunmetal Grey. we took almost 2.5 hr to cover 24 km distance from Khajjiar Lake to Dalhousie because this stretch was covered with snow and we were like "Kahan Fas Gaye Yaar...."

What happened right there on the Snow Stretch:-

Kaise Taise we reached Dalhousie at around 4:50 pm and took a small round of the market and again started our ride and went back to Chowari. We reached Chowari around 6:50 pm.

On the next morning, we left for Chandigarh.

Total Travel:- 709 km

Total Expenditure:- ₹ 2000/person (Due to our own tent)

Total Days:- 3 Days & 2 Nights
